Law of Attraction (LoA)
While I firmly believe that as humans our true and deep nature is as reflectors, we do need to understand how this works in reality.
Probably the most vital thing to know when it comes to law of attraction, is that we need good coherence across all levels of our being (I use the Indian Cakra system as a reference for this) Good coherence means that within our 'unity of selves' as 7 levels, we are basically all headed in the same direction, on the same page, have the same purpose and there is overall unity and harmony. In such a state it is difficult to not feel good, have plenty of energy, a naturally positive mindset, relatively easily materialise our wishes and so on.
7 - Above head - Portal to higher dimensions and spiritual knowledge.
6 - Head - Thought and Intentions (Also home of the 3 brains and our Pineal gland)
5 - Throat - Expression and Interface with the world
4 - Heart - Seat of the Soul and home of the feeling level.
3 - Solar area - Sense of Spiritual self (personal sun)
2 - Gut level - Emotions (Energy) Creativity, Passion,
1 - Root level - Grounding on the physical plane. Manifestation.
For LoA to actually work we should put aside pre-concieved ideas of exactly how we want things to materialise. This does'nt mean we can have a vague inner visualization - this needs to be strong and clear. However we need to be open to small opportunities and seemingly in-significant details that may just harbour the very break we are looking for and be prepared to act upon them. If we are not wide awake we will miss these and end up saying the LoA doesnt work.
We also need to be clear on the difference between a wishful thinking version of intention, and a genuine or real intention. One that we are willing to work very hard on materialising. The wishful thinking type is backed by a lower level of in-sincere intention - our deeper intention is actually probably to stay in our comfort zone and so is keeping us stuck there. A higher level of sincerity means that we are on our way from point A to point B anyway, whether we know about LoA or not.
The two famous sayings that come to mind are:
"Some people make it happen, some people watch it happen and some people ask 'what happened?"
"God helps those who help themselves"
These great quotes point to a mindset, an attitude and a way of approaching affairs.
The feedback loop from and into our daily perception, understanding and deep beliefs, is another factor that keeps us very stuck. If I am miserably poor, this state of affairs is constantly affirmed to me by my daily experience, and so I believe it to be so, since this is what I see all the time as my apparently true condition. It is really a lie, this outer condition is a deep reflection of our inner positions, not the other way around as it seems to be. This is what I call the feedback loop from immediate circumstances and conditions. The only way out of this loop is to employ a rigorous three fold approach: 1. Know more personally who and what we actually are as human beings - not who and what we have been conditioned to believe we are 2. Work with daily deep meditation. 3. Re-program our emotional reactions and responses to all the sensory triggers in our daily life - until we can turn this around really effectively, we will never see any real results.
Lastly, we have to be in true harmony with our deeper soul's purpose. Without this, our endeavours in life will never take on a deeper root and will tend to falter or go astray quickly. A very superficial level of manifestation and understanding will be evident and always lead us into one or another cul de sac, never gaining proper momentum and developing the deep meaning that transcends the mundane aspects of life.
Injunctions such as 'feel the feeling before it has happened', visualise every sense - touch, scent, colour, movement, sound and so on, will be virtually impossible to assemble and basically just wont work without us being in true alignment with our heart and soul purpose.
